Facebook is the only place where it is acceptable to talk to a wall.

"If you guys were the inventors of Facebook, you'd have invented Facebook". This is a line from the new movie "the social network". In the social network it depicts the life of Mark Zuckerberg, the guy who created Facebook. Facebook has basically taken over the world, with many users across the globe, all connecting each other through walls, inbox messages and commenting on others' photos. He has made BILLIONS on one website. You can think what you want about Facebook, but you have to face the facts, this man had a genius idea that took him places.

i am a Facebook user, and yes it is a waste of time, but i am able to keep in contact with people that i wouldn't be able to because of my busy schedule. People can bash the site all they want, but the thing is, most of us use it. It may be the popularity tests, to show off how beautiful you are or to spill your heart out on a status. Facebook has many uses, and numerous people spend hours upon hours using it. Most people who are "friends" on Facebook, don't even talk in real life. People are addicted to games such as Farmville and Restaurant City, and i know some people can't even deny it! They know it's true. The movie world noticed Facebook's power and took this to their advantage with a movie about it's creator's life.

Though i found the movie trailer to portray him as a terrible person, who tricked his best friend out of the profit of Facebook, truly, he seems like a modest man. I don't think fame has gone to his head just yet, and to keep him grounded he only rents a bungalow with his girlfriend. The money he donated to the schools, may or may not have been to advertise the new movie based on his life. I assume, like all celebrities, he may have done it for the wrong reasons, to promote and sell. But hey, why should we complain what his motivations were? The point is the schools got millions of dollars! It was still a nice gesture to donate that much. It being on Oprah makes it questionable because he could have done it, and people would have found out and maybe thought it was sweet and not question his intentions.

Yes, i understand Facebook has its flaws, and also seems to be taking over the population, but i find it easier to message someone on Facebook about homework than trying to find their number. So i thank you Mark Zuckerberg. Now i just need a way for it to stop distracting me from  DOING my homework!

"One suggestion: Get rid of the "the". Just *Facebook*. Flows better."
